Sometimes families need a break from the pressures of day-today life that go along with caring for a loved one. Whether for a week or longer, we provide short-term care that gives everyone renewed energy.

Your loved one receives the same attentive, personalised care as our permanent residents, in the same exceptional environment.

Day Care

Our day care option gives people the opportunity to spend time in one of our homes while continuing to live independently in their own home.

Every visit is centred around the individual. They can spend their time in the way that feels right for them, whether that means joining an activity, enjoying freshly prepared food or simply relaxing in comfortable surroundings. Our team will take the time to understand their interests, routines, and preferences, so they feel welcomed, supported and at home.

Day care also allows individuals and their families the opportunity to get to know the home and build trusted relationships with our team. If their care needs change in the future, being familiar with the people and surroundings can help make the next step feel more comfortable and reassuring.

Day care is available by arrangement at each Fisher Care home, subject to availability and an assessment with the Home Manager.
