Bridge House Care Home has been a hive of activity, brimming with creativity, celebration, and warmth. Our residents have embraced a variety of engaging activities, each designed to bring joy, friendship, and a sense of community to our home.

Our creative writing sessions have been a standout, offering residents the chance to express themselves and forge new friendships through floor-to-floor writing. This friendly introduction has not only sparked creativity but also strengthened the bonds within our home.

Valentine’s celebrations were marked with fabulous entertainment, thanks to Martin, who filled our home with happiness and love. The festivities continued with our residents crafting handmade Valentine’s cards, adding a sentimental touch to this special day. The joy of Shrove Tuesday was shared with delicious pancakes, spreading smiles all around.

A highlight was our visit to the Bellgrove Social Club for the annual Valentine’s Disco, a testament to our commitment to community engagement and fun. Additionally, we were thrilled to welcome our in-house referee, Gordon Smith, known for his Big Daddy days, adding a touch of nostalgia and excitement to our activities.

At Bridge House, our activities team specialises in personalised engagement, ensuring every resident feels at home. From crafting days to welcoming new faces, we’re proud to offer a variety of events that cater to the diverse interests of our residents. We’re bursting with pride at the vibrant life within our walls and are eager to share more of our home’s stories.
